Thinking Home can speak announcements, such as "There is someone at the front door." To do this, select the front door motion detector in the Devices List. Then choose New Announcement from the File menu and type in what you want spoken when the motion detector reports. This can be used for any type of device.

This feature requires the Speech Manager extension, which is normally installed automatically as part of the system software.
